So I've been downloading a lot of music lately, makes me think. I mean, I obtain one piece, listen to it for a bit, then ignore the rest before I get another one. So I don't listen to most of my music; at least recently.

If I don't listen to the music I earn, it appears more of a currency. I mean, I have them, I don't care much about them. Then it came to me (well, again); I spend about five; ten minutes every day faving artwork here that I like. Yeah, that's nice and all but when do I ever look at my favs? I see them occasionally when browsing my page; about once a month if I want to reply to a comment, upload a deviation (about every three months), or write a journal (every six months); and I come here so rarely I often do several at a time.

So my favs expand every day, and yet they have no use. The only use they will ever have to me is if I ever want to look at the tutorials I save; or the image I faved once because it may have use as a reference in a future work.

Furthermore, I have decided that faving is a waste of my time and they just clutter my favs so I won't be able to find the tutorials. And yet I still do it.

The only people it does benefit are the artists; but what does a fav tell them? It tells them they are popular, but *ahem* adult works get loads of favs not because of how good the art is. Upload a piece to "Women" and it will get you more views, I can tell ya. So if favs aren't a good measurement, then what? Comments. Comments; these are the things that tell you what to improve and what you are good at. Of course, you need popularity to get lots of comments, but...

No, I don't want favs to be removed, I'm just reflecting on the meaning of what I do.

Yeah, so music: being listening to a different type of music recently; namely J-Pop, and mainly Ayumi Hamasaki. Bit of Ayaka recently and Koda Kumi too; but mainly Ayu.

J-Pop; maybe not actually knowing what the words mean make the songs more easy to listen to than UK/US Pop. I will deviate from this for a second: The difference between Pop and Dance is Dance focuses more on the music. The difference between Rap and Drum N Bass is DnB focuses more on the music/sounds. And I'm sure Metal is more about the music than Rock but I don't know much difference in the genres there.

J-Pop focuses more on the Dance, and also the Trance. Genres I like of course because Trance is music. I listen to music; Rap isn't music and Drum N Bass isn't really music either; I don't liek it.

Yeah, so J-Pop is the better Pop. - I've also been listening to Scooter; the Techno/Dance/Trance (Rave/Hardcore if you consider these genres too) German electronic group. Scooter hide their real selves behind the songs they really release. The stuff on their albums are more awesome. Mainly because it's more Trance based; the stuff that doesn't do as popular in the charts. Though I bet if Pussy Cat Dolls released a Trance song it would hit no. 1. I'm one of those people who suspect it's because Trance isn't the mainstream people don't listen to it: but I hear references some of the time; like my friend asking if I knew who Tiësto was but pronounced wrong. Yeah; although apparently it's through his father.

Yeah, so that's music.

In other news, I'm coding HTML in my ICT lessons instead of using Dreamweaver; I find coding somewhat easier and more flexible even though it's probably a lie. Tables are the best. Thing is, it's a lot like MediaWiki except MediaWiki had been edited to make it easier for newbies to learn and specialises in what wikis use. But MediaWiki is what made HTML so easy to pick up on.

Onto gaming; you may know I'm a PlayStation gamer. On my PS2 I'm playing "Team Buddies" - stuff of legend, read up on it. The only limitations are the stuff you expect on old games; but it is four-player which is good. But you can't play all maps on Deathmatch even though it would be possible.

On the PS3, I'm playing Final Fantasy IX; with my brother as it's two-player. Should've been four-player. Yeah; it's a funny game; I have a brother who's always scared of dying and refused to go under water in FFVII because of Emerald Weapon. Funny guy. So he gets pissed off when I go the wrong way to face the Sealion and Black Waltz instead of the savepoint. What a guy.

Yeah, I feel like I haven't talked enough.
